Where this equipment fits
Batch ETPs, textile washing and uneven sewage inflows.
Batch dyeing, washing and cleaning operations can send very different flows to an ETP over a shift. For textile facilities in Faisalabad or Lahore, map those batches before selecting tank volume and mixers. Check power interruptions, restart conditions and access for lifting equipment out of service.
How to select equalization tanks
Use these inputs to define the equipment duty before comparing proposals.
- 01Hourly discharge profile
- 02Usable volume and release rate
- 03Mixing, odour and overflow provisions
What to check before choosing
Equalization balances load but does not itself remove dissolved pollution. Size from the actual discharge profile.
What affects the price in Pakistan?
The quoted price depends on hourly discharge profile, materials, controls and the agreed supply scope. For a useful comparison, identify freight, taxes, installation, commissioning and initial spares as separate proposal items where applicable.
For replacement equipment, share the existing nameplate, photographs and connection dimensions. For a new installation, share the design flow or loading, site location and available space. Final availability, delivery and performance terms are confirmed with the selected equipment.
Integration with your treatment plant
Hourly flow and batch discharge profile. Tank geometry, liquid depth and solids content. Mixing objective, motor duty and maintenance access. These interfaces should be checked alongside the individual equipment specification.
Related engineering and plant servicesBalance batch flow before a lamella clarifier
The lamella clarifier sizing guide explains why peak release flow, solids concentration, chemistry and production changes must be checked even after equalization.
Feed a rotary drum screen at a controlled rate
Use the rotary drum screen feed and hydraulic guide to connect the production or cleaning schedule, release rate, mixing, grease and solids behaviour with the active basket area, water levels, cleaning cycle and reject handling.
Connect equalization to primary clarification
Equalization can balance variable industrial batches, but the clarifier must still be checked at the controlled release and expected solids load. Use the primary-clarifier flow, solids and acceptance guide to keep both stages on the same design basis.
Balance batch flow before a DAF
Use the real production and cleaning schedule to define working volume, release rate, mixing and level controls. The DAF peak-flow example shows why daily average flow can hide the actual flotation duty.
Release industrial wastewater evenly to a static screen
Use the static wedge-wire screen selection guide to connect the controlled release rate with full-width distribution, effective wetted area, blinding, cleaning and solids handling.
